Roco 76844 – Closed Freight Wagon Type CHAW of the NS - Era III

This H0 freight car from Roco is a detailed representation of the CHAW type, as used by the Dutch Railways (NS) in the period after the Second World War. In 1946, the NS took over more than 2,000 freight cars from the USATC stock, including 1,000 boxcars that were numbered from 22 501 to 23 400. Due to paint shortages in the post-war years, these cars retained their original olive green color; only the USATC lettering was painted over.
