Example: Additional carriages for the Swiss State Railways (SBB) RABe 501 "Giruno" high-speed multiple unit. The set consists of a type B (B11) intermediate car, 2nd class, with a pantograph, and a type C (B10) intermediate car, 2nd class. This is an extension for the EC 151, for the international route Frankfurt/Main - Freiburg - Basel - Zurich - Milan Central Station. Train number RABe 501 022 features the coat of arms of the Swiss canton of Vaud. The model is in the livery of around 2024.

Model: Two-car set for expanding the RABe 501 'Giruno' high-speed trainset to an eleven-car unit. Standard interior lighting with maintenance-free warm white light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The interior lighting is powered by a power line running throughout the train and only functions and can be controlled digitally if the carriages are installed in the basic set.
The pantograph on the intermediate car can only be raised and lowered via a digital signal from the decoder if the car is included in the basic set. The two intermediate cars are permanently connected. The bogies have spring-loaded connections. Accurately reproduced to scale. Minimum radius of operation: 360 mm. Length of the car set: 40.2 cm.
The basic set 39812 can be expanded with the extension sets 43451, 43452 and 43453 to a prototypical eleven-part train set.
