As befits a big surprise, our advertising locomotive "160 Years of Märklin" left the Dortmund depot almost unnoticed on July 1st of this year. Just a few hours later, it surprised everyone, young and old, at stations and along the line. The two sides of this locomotive have a different design and impressively depict the fascination of the Märklin brand. Soon, you too can experience the impact of this Märklin locomotive in your own model railroading world.
Condition: Mint – Complete in original packaging with manuals. Also includes a built-in driver!
Model: With an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion. 2 axles powered. Traction tires. Triple headlights and dual red marker lights that change over with the direction of travel, in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Running lights can be switched off separately. Headlights at locomotive end 2 and 1 can each be switched off separately digitally. When the headlights at both ends of the locomotive are off, the double "A" lights are switched on at both ends. Lighting is provided with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Length over buffers: 21.9 cm.
Example: Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) class 101 express locomotive. The advertising imprint reads "160 Years of Märklin." The locomotive's road number is 101 064-4. As in use in 2019.
