The NS 2200 model impresses with its exquisite engravings and detailed reproductions of the heavy American-designed bogies, featuring many additional components. The handrails are delicate and freestanding. Further highlights of the PIKO NS 2200 include the unobstructed view into the driver's cab and the digitally switchable cab lighting. The model features a factory-installed buffer capacitor for optimal running characteristics without sound interruptions. The powerful motor with a flywheel mass drives all four axles, ensuring the vehicle's excellent running characteristics. The two inboard axles are each equipped with traction tires. The model has a well-organized interior with a modern circuit board featuring a PluX22 interface. The NS 2200 models are prepared for easy conversion with a digital or PIKO sound decoder with the largest possible speaker.
