Märklin description:
Split short couplings with single-pole electrical connection for illuminated express train carriages. Also suitable for wagons with low buffer height according to NEM 303. Suitable for prepared wagons with a length of 26.4 cm, 27 cm and 28.2 cm when installing interior lighting 73400/73401. For one wagon per train unit, a slider contact 73404, 73405 or 73406 is required.
Reliable connection with spring-loaded contacts. Manual coupling and uncoupling on the model railway is possible. Coupling is also possible with short couplings without electrical contact.
