As a multi-protocol control device, the Central Station 3 plus offers, with its modern, high-resolution colour touch screen, 2 speed controllers and integrated central control panel, the possibility of simple and convenient control of locomotives and the entire model railway layout.
Up to 32 functions can be switched on locomotives, and up to 320 Motorola or 2048 DCC solenoid-controlled items are possible with accessories.
The Central Station 3 plus also has 2 built-in locomotive card readers (for saving locomotive data on a locomotive card or for quickly calling up the locomotive by inserting the locomotive card), an SD card reader for expanding the memory and an integrated speaker for playing model railway sounds.
A powerful booster is built in to supply the system with driving and switching current.
Central Station 3 plus is multi-device capable, i.e. with the optional cable (60123) multiple Central Stations 3 plus (60216), each with a suitable network connection, can be used together in one installation. Additional control panels, more layouts and keyboards further expand the installation, whereby joint and separate configurations for the installation parts to be controlled in Central Station 3 plus can be used.
The Central Station 3 plus has an integrated s88 connection, 2 built-in USB hosts (e.g. for mouse, keyboard, USB stick), a USB charging socket, a network connection for communication with a PC, connections for 2 Mobile Stations, a connection for external speakers and further connections for the Märklin bus system. Load capacity at the connecting track: max. 5 A, load capacity at the programming track: max. 1.2 A.
Maximum output power:
- 5.0 A when using the Märklin 100W power supply, only for track 1 and for LGB.
- 3.0 A when using the Märklin power supply 60W or 50W, for H0 and N gauge.
The Central Station 3 plus can only be used together with Märklin power supply units. The Central Station 3 plus is therefore NOT compatible with Märklin transformers! In all cases, you must use cables with a cross-section of at least
0.5 mm² to use!
