The Märklin 39372 is an H0 model of the electric locomotive Baureihe 101 of the Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG), painted in a special dark blue colour scheme for the 25th anniversary of the musical "Starlight Express". The model bears the company number 101 025-5 and belongs to Era VI. This locomotive is equipped with an mfx digital decoder, a powerful Drum Collector Motor (5* DCM) and extensive sound functions. The lighting consists of a triple headlight and two-light red marker lights, which change with the direction of travel and can be switched digitally. In addition, there are separately switchable headlights on both sides. The model has two powered axles with traction tyres, which ensures excellent driving characteristics, even on steep gradients.
