The Märklin 37885 is a detailed H0 model of the heavy freight train steam locomotive Baureihe 043 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB), a later variant of the BR 44 with oil firing and oil tender. This model is equipped with a digital decoder and a powerful high-efficiency propulsion, which ensures excellent driving characteristics. The locomotive has a Telex coupler on the tender, which makes it possible to uncouple remotely. In addition, the model is equipped with a smoke generator and a sound module that, among other things, reproduces the whistle signal of the locomotive. The lighting consists of dual headlights that change over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. With a length over buffers of approximately 26.0 cm, this locomotive is an impressive appearance on any model railway.
