The Märklin 37810 is a detailed H0 model of the German steam locomotive Baureihe 50 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB), executed in the state around 1965. This locomotive is equipped with an mfx decoder and extensive sound functions, including steam locomotive operating sounds, whistle and other realistic sound effects. The model has a high-efficiency propulsion with a bell-shaped armature motor and flywheel, mounted in the boiler, which ensures excellent driving characteristics. The locomotive and tender are constructed largely of metal and have many separately applied details. The lighting consists of three-way headlights that change over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. A smoke generator (Märklin 7226) can be installed as an option. With a length over buffers of approximately 26.4 cm, this locomotive is an impressive appearance on any model railroad.
