The Märklin 37848 is a detailed H0 model of the Baureihe 50 steam locomotive of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB), executed in the classic black/red color scheme with Wagner smoke deflectors. This model, which depicts the locomotive as it looked around 1954, is equipped with an mfx digital decoder, a powerful high-efficiency propulsion and extensive sound functions. The locomotive has a Telex coupler on the tender side, which allows remote uncoupling. In addition, the model is prepared for the installation of a smoke generator (Märklin 7226). The frame of the locomotive is hinged, which ensures better curve position. With a length over buffers of 26.5 cm, this locomotive is an impressive appearance on any model railroad.
