This H0 electric locomotive from Roco is a detailed reproduction of the NS 1753, a locomotive from the 1700 series of the Dutch Railways. Based on the French BB 7200 series and built by Alsthom, these locomotives were put into service from 1991. The NS 1753 was used for both domestic Intercity services and international trains, including the IC Amsterdam–Berlin and the IC The Hague–Venlo. The model is equipped with an air conditioning unit and signal horn box, and has a pantograph with innovative mounting. Many separately applied parts, partly etched, ensure a high level of detail. In digital version, the front and rear signals, as well as the cabin lighting, can be switched separately.
