Electric locomotive series 189 of MRCE, rented by Rotterdam Rail Feeding BV (RRF). Multi-system locomotive with 4 pantographs for cross-border freight traffic between the Netherlands and Germany. Locomotive number 189 091-2. As in use from 2019.

Model: With digital mfx+ decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel, centrally mounted. Four axles powered via cardan shafts. With traction tires. Triple headlights and two red tail lights that change over with the direction of travel, in analog operation, can be controlled digitally. Headlights at locomotive end 2 and 1 can be controlled separately in digital operation. Double A-lighting function. High beams can be switched on digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Driver's cab with interior details. Separately mounted metal handrails. Prototypically equipped with different pantographs for the current systems in Germany and the Netherlands.
