The Märklin 37051 is an impressive H0 model of the streamlined express locomotive class 05 002 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG). This model, released as a one-time MHI series in 2012, is executed in an elegant black livery with red decorative lines and completely closed streamlined plating. The locomotive is equipped with an mfx digital decoder, a powerful bell-shaped armature motor and extensive sound functions that provide a realistic driving experience. The lighting consists of maintenance-free warm white LEDs and can be controlled digitally. The model is prepared for the installation of a smoke generator (Märklin 7226). The metal tender is permanently coupled to the locomotive and has a sliding hood for easy access to the decoder. With a length over buffers of 30.7 cm, this locomotive is an impressive appearance on any model railroad layout.
