Roco 6200054 – 3-Piece Set "Block Box" Carriages of the Dutch Railways (NS), Era III

This H0 model set from Roco consists of three "Blokkendoos" passenger carriages of the Dutch Railways (NS), representative of the period from the 1950s to the early 1970s. The set includes:

• 1st/2nd class carriage (ex Bec), type AB

• 2nd class carriage (ex Ce8c), type B

• 2nd class carriage (ex Cec), type B

The original electric "Blokkendoos" trainsets were used until 1958. From around 1956, many of these trainsets were converted into regular passenger carriages and painted blue. They served as reinforcement carriages during peak hours. The last carriages were taken out of service in 1973.
