Märklin 37883 - Steam locomotive - BR 44 - DB - MFX + Sound
German Federal Railroad (DB) class 44 heavy freight locomotive. Oil-fired version with Witte smoke deflectors. Operating condition around 1967.
Condition: In top condition - complete with original packaging and manuals.

- Remotely controlled Telex coupling on the tender.
Model: With an mfx digital decoder, controlled high-efficiency propulsion, a Telex coupler on the tender, and a sound generator with numerous functions. 5 axles powered, traction tires. The articulated frame allows for smooth curve traversing. The headlights work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. A 7226 smoke generator can be retrofitted. An adjustable close coupling between the locomotive and tender is available. For NEM coupler pockets. Piston rod protection sleeves can be installed.
