The Märklin 37450 is a detailed H0 model of the heavy steam locomotive Baureihe 45 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB), executed in a black livery with red accents. This model is an exclusive Insider edition from 2002 and is based on the earlier analogue version 34450, but equipped with digital technology. The locomotive is equipped with a digital decoder, a powerful high-efficiency propulsion with a bell-shaped armature motor and a sound module that produces realistic steam sounds. In addition, the model has a firebox lighting that runs synchronously with the exhaust blasts of the locomotive.
